Precision art in Year 1

Miss Leeming, our Artist in Residence, was so stunned by the quality of work from our 5 and 6 year olds in Year 1 that she asked me to come and take a look. Sure enough, the children were producing some brilliant, detailed work, drawing the eye of a dinosaur and learning about the use of thick and thin lines, dark and light shades.
