Day for Change: Helping Syrian children
This week, we have been bringing in our spare (or collected) change to help Syrian refugees. Click the image below for more information from a Junior lesson and see how we've celebrated our support for children in danger.
We hope to have raised around £200 for this good cause. Thankyou to Miss Bennett for organising and promoting this good cause and to those who have been able to support.

Yesterday's cake sale, supported by the Nurture Group and others, along with donations for non-uniform day, raised over £300 for Children in Need.
In addition, contributions for poppies have raised over £50 for the Royal British Legion.

Armistice (Poppy) Day
We joined together in the hall today to spend two minutes in silence, following the online 'Silence in the (Trafalgar) Square' being broadcast. Many children wore their poppies with pride and, in so doing, helped the Royal British Legion charity through their donations.
Children were encouraged to think about British soldiers and others who have died or suffered as a result of war and conflict. Alternatively, they could take time to remember - or think about - loved ones that they miss, as well as considering how they might support peace with their peers.

Macmillan cake sale at coffee morning
Children from our Nurture Group, supported by their excellent staff, were the hosts for Friday's Macmillan coffee morning. A good number of parents joined us to enjoy the sale of lovely cakes.
Thankyou to all who could join the children and for the generous cake donations.
