Achievement: Do you believe that you can achieve?

Hopefully, your children will come home today and talk about - or at least remember when you mention - this morning's assembly. 

The challenge was:

Can you get a straw through a potato?  and

What does this tell you?

Well, the answer to the first question is 'yes' and children may indeed ask you if they can have a go at home. The children who tried it this morning all succeeded to some degree.

The point of the assembly - and our theme for this half term - is achievement.

• What does it mean to achieve?
• How do you want to achieve?
• What help and support might you need?
• What qualities do you need to succeed?

And today's theme: 

Do you believe that you can achieve?

With a goal in mind, the right attitude and belief to achieve it, plus the support of others where needed, anything is possible....even pushing a straw through a potato!
