Mr Mendoza's PE stars
Well done to the following children, selected by Mr Mendoza, our PE specialist, as shining examples in the subject. From getting changed quickly and without fuss to listening well and working hard to develop their skills, these pupils are a great example to others and should be a source of great pride to their family!

Netball competition
Y5&6 Netball Competition
Our netball team played their first tournament at Burntwood school last week. The team have been working incredibly hard since September and managed to finish 3rd out of seven teams in our league. Unfortunately, we were just 1 point from making it into the quarter-finals but the children showed great skill, tenacity, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

An excellent assembly by the Pumas of Year 2 saw a lovely recount of The Enormous Crocodile story. With great speaking, singing and acting, the talented class entertained their audience wearing their colourful costumes.

Healthy Assembly from Leopard Class
Thankyou to Leopard Class for educating us further about healthy food and balanced diets. It was interesting - and alarming - to see how much sugar there is in our food, and you communicated the message very clearly to your audience of parents and pupils.
Well done!
